Is consumerhealthdigest.com Safe?

A lot of the negative reviews here seem to be more politically motivated than genuine. It's really hard to find any kind of reputable reviews for alternative medicine or supplements, and ***** seems to fill that niche as well as one could possible expect. I'm not really into the alternative health thing myself, but I would appreciate it if other reviewers could avoid marking a site as "untrustworthy" and a "scam" just because it is coming from a worldview that they feel is flawed (I'm certainly in that camp). Certainly the ratings of it being unsuitable for children are purely being vindictive. It's no more unsuitable for children than WebMD or Wikipedia. Not that I'm equating it with those in terms or reputability. From what I've read and the research I've done, ***** appears to be trustworthy insofar as it's reporting on and giving reviews of various health products, yes, including alternative medicine practices and products. They seem to go above and beyond in being transparent about their review process and policies, and in pointing out the existence or lack of clinical trials or studies in regards to various products. It honestly feels like most of the hate comes from an instance of them doing what many considered spamming WoT forums. I say "considered" because it's hard to verify myself, since in response they apologized and purged all the comments to try and make up for it.  It's not useful to me to have a site marked as "untrustworthy" and a "scam" because 2 years ago they did something on the WoT forums that users didn't like, and I'm more than a bit annoyed that I had to dig so deep into things to find out all of this, rather than just being able to trust the ratings. Whether you are into that yourself or not, for the market it serves, it's as trustworthy as you could hope for.
