Perhaps the most agressive malware site I have ever come across. Even clicking on the WOT popup gets you sent to some very nasty places.

This is a very good site, but its reputation is suspicious.

Not safe for children and just a scam site scraping and hotlinking images and content from other web pages with high ranking keywords so it can lure people to open it and be bombarded with spam and popups.

the only people who could possibly rate this site high are those who have a financial interest in it staying up. an HTTP session monitor shows that on loading pixshark.com this site loads links fro: bidveriser.com, then onbclasrv.com, then onclickads.net, then mgid.com, then hyperpromote.com, then an iframe from padstm.com, then sends themself a tweet about another sucker hitting their link then goes to padsdel.com, then cdnads.com, then mdn2015x1.com, then ad130m.com, then ad129m.com, then adpdx.com, then mdn2015x2.com, then pxl2015x1.com, then ad134m.com, then onclickads.net, then clktag.com, then clicktappoint.com, then macoscleaner.com, then ***** - which explodes the window and forces a modal dialog telling you to call ***** because your computer is infected then s-potatoes.com, then redirectvoluum.com, then adstrx.com, then mackeeper.com, then adnxs.com, then a nasty javascript from ***** and there are multiple instances of these domains and egregious behavior from all of these bad actors in the same http session.

Nothing suspicious about this site. Photos and images are suitable for children and there is no risk of viruses. Other than being a rather old, unoptimised and slow site the likes of which you could expect to find in the early 2000s, there's nothing unusual here. Pixshark is not responsible for popular search results as they are generated by users and stored to more easily cater to popular demand.

Got a form of malware from this website thanks malwarebytes

YOU prob. have a virus on your computer and is not a reason to blame pixshark. use Malwarebytes and ESET ISS and stop leaving unproven ratings on this site. It's possible u may come across images deemed unsuitable for children ,but not very likely. In the whole it seems generally ok for younger minds.
3
I had no problems with this website, even after downloading the images. Perhaps it appears to be problematic if you already have malware and viruses
