Whenever someone is bucking the status quo, they are attacked as quacks. It has been proven that mercury is a neurotoxin and that mercury fillings leach out toxins over time which has adverse health consequences. The next frontier to conquer and disseminate the dangers of pertain to root canals and the hidden infections that reside in them, the cap, and the bone structure. Many who are sick can attribute their ill health to the root canals in their mouths. This is a great site and I hope more consumers become informed and passionate about bringing change to the medical and dental landscape.

I don't see a reason for this site having a bad rating.

This site is flat-out crazy - conspiracy theories and pseudo-science. It has joined a consortium of the lunatic fringe of the alt-health crazies, including the virulently anti-vaccination propaganda group NVIC ***** The consortium is called Health Liberty ***** and it spreads lies and propaganda against all manner of public health achievements. The anti-vaccination ranting is particularly virulent, and they link to all the very worst anti-vax websites. The site is a danger to your health and your children's health.

I have a sneaking suspicion that WOT has a history of red flagging perfectly safe sites if it is NOT in keeping with what we think of as modern wisdom. This site is perfectly safe as far as I can tell. I love WOT, but this is a serious flaw. this is now 3 votes for perfectly safe, with comments.& one vote without comment makes it red & unsafe. What does that tell you?

This site delivers information that is of use to many people who are concerned about their health and the risk of mercury in dental amalgams. Nothing is pushed on the consumer, and alternatives need to be made known.

Not sure why this was given a red rating based on 1 vote! The subject of mercury used in amalgam fillings is an important one - especially for parents. It is an extremely toxic substance - I was most annoyed when my dentist used it without asking me first. (Taking it back out again would have caused more exposure to it). Sweden has banned it. I use no-script for Firefox and had no virus warnings. Nor was I encouraged to sign up for emails. Please remember that sites should be reported based mainly on whether or not they are safe to use (i.e. no computer viruses/spam mail, extreme violence & therefore not suitable for children), not whether you disagree with their message (particularly if you manufacture amalgam for a living.)
