I'm not asking any one of you to become Scientologists, out of blind faith. I'm asking you, to go and look for the truth about Scientology for yourselves, with your own eyes. Just walk into a Church and ask for a tour. This is common courtesy, right? Imagine your ill-wishers went on a campaign to completely ruin your name or business in the local media, and your customers or friends started to avoid you and say awful things, and lies behind your back, simply passing on the words that were spoon fed to them by the people trying to smear you. I'm sure you'd be really shocked to find yourself being judged by someone or a group of people without the opportunity to prove your own innocence. A trial, where the defendant is not given the opportunity to defend themselves is biased, and unfair! Just think about your BASIC HUMAN RIGHTS: 1. We Are All Born Free & Equal. We are all born free. We all have our own thoughts and ideas. We should all be treated in the same way. 2. Don’t Discriminate. These rights belong to everybody, whatever our differences. 7. We’re All Equal Before the Law. The law is the same for everyone. It must treat us all fairly. 11. We’re Always Innocent Till Proven Guilty. Nobody should be blamed for doing something until it is proven. When people say we did a bad thing we have the right to show it is not true. 18. Freedom of Thought. We all have the right to believe in what we want to believe, to have a religion, or to change it if we want. 19. Freedom of Expression. We all have the right to make up our own minds, to think what we like, to say what we think, and to share our ideas with other people. Are you going to just sit and watch as people deny you these? If the answer is no, then you should think about giving the same basic rights and dignity that you would demand, to others. I'm exercising my 29. Human Right to protect my group, as I am a Scientologist. It is "Responsibility. We have a duty to other people, and we should protect their rights and freedoms." Help me create a world, where everyone can exercise their own rights! Thank you!

The owners of this site definitely have a bone to pick with Scientology, but they are quite up front with it, which is refreshingly honest for a site that has anything to do with religion (or "religious cults") Nonetheless, they first source the direct you to in biographies is wikipedia, and even to the group's homepage, which certainly impressed their honesty upon me. The FAQ says of this site "It is not unbiased or objective, and it never claimed it was. [...] Being of a different opinion of you, does NOT mean I did a less honest search for the truth. It does not even have to mean I know less than you." So really, the site shouldn't be used as an authority, indeed, the "baloney detector kit" section chides us that "Arguments from authority carry little weight (in science there are no "authorities")" For a neutral opionion visitors are directed by the site author to wikipedia. The site itself is very intersting, even if it takes things to a bit of an extreme. One quote of Hubbard's (not from them, but from a TIME article) jumped out at me "Make money. Make more money. Make others produce so as to make money... However you get them in or why, just do it." That leaves little room for interpretation. I wouldn't consider this to be a "hateful" site, as the author is opposed to certain actions of a certain organization, rather than having any animus towards the people within it as a solid group. However, the stated and apparent purpose of this site is to campaign against this religion, and do everything possible to discredit it, and, if possible, destroy it altogether. There are no viruses, though you might not want children on the site, since some of the material is rather graphic. Above all, read the FAQ, and don't treat this site like its anything else than what it claims to be.

When I wondered what Scientology was to people outside the movement, my first choice for information was xenu.net. Preventing spiritual abuse is first priority for the operator of this site. I am thankful for all the important knowledge communicated by this website!

The truth behind Scientology
2
Great website dedicated to exposing the flaws of religion.
3
A very informative website, though the links in the media vault are dead. If you've rated this website down, it's probably cause you have some sort of personal problem with it.
1
Shows information copyrighted by the Church of Scientology(R), and uses it for hate speech.
1
This website is essentially a smear campaign against Scientology. It contains questionable information, rumors, half-truths and outright lies, all "verified" by questionable sources with sinister motives.
2
This website is designed to spread bad news about Scientology. If anyone picked up a book written by the Scientology founder they would immediately know that this website is simply a hate-monger. A bad-news-bear of the worst type. Their content isn't even questionable, it's outright lies.
3
Probably the best anti-Scientology site in the world.
