Is allegromedical.com Safe?

I ordered an item from them, only to find out it was backordered. Once it was off backorder, the item still never shipped. I had to call them to find out it was on backorder again, even though their website said the item was in stock. I've requested a refund and order cancellation 3 times now, and haven't gotten anything back. Next stop--Better Business Bureau. I checked these people out on other business review sites (after my purchase of course), and all the reviews pretty much say the same thing as mine. Don't buy from this company. It's not worth the hassle.

Site says items ship in 1-2 days. My item did not ship for 10 days after card charged. Customer service did not respond to email. Phone call did not resolve. BBB contacted and eventually item shipped. If you must buy from them because of item availability go through ***** who can put pressure on them to get the item shipped. My mistake was ordering from them directly after placing orders through Amazon with them as third party vendor and thinking they were reputable. I will never use allegromedical.com again after being ignored by their customer service for over 20 days.
