The website is phishing the identity of the authoritative official software published by the Australian Tax Office, which is available to the public free of charge. While exploiting the name "E-Tax", they are charging unpredictable fees that are deduced from the tax returns, which you would have received fully as you deserved if you did not mistakenly believed that they are the official ATO E-Tax software. In addition, once you registered an account with them to lodge a tax return, you will probably later find out that: You cannot cancel your account, or tax return you've lodged with this service; There is a fee attached to the use of this service, which would have been free if with the offical E-Tax software from ATO; The fee is not transparent; No one will answer the phone when you call; The time of lodgement is long; They are lodged without care; Deductions claimable disappeared; You are actually the one doing all the work, while they are the one messing up your work; It would had been free with the real E-Tax; Receiving emails saying you have multiple overdue tax returns from the past 15 years that require your urgent attention, though you never received any letter or notice from ATO; They do not give a damn about tax returns from the previous financial year, A big chunk of your tax return was deducted as "Fee"; Googling reviews of that company revealed that many others were trapped or victimised similarly; Regrets that you did not pay attention or looked carefully whether it was an official ATO E-Tax; It's all too late by the time you realised it, and get told that they've lodged the return while they are often late and takes a long while doing so; Plus many many more issues and frustrations;
