Ist avo.net sicher?

Even the 'believers' are now calling this a scam. See the last pages at: ***** . People are also wondering why ***** is down, and operation is back at avo.net, especially given the message that used to be on avousa.com: " P.S. Due to the USA rules on providing international investment services, we are being forced to change our main domain name to avousa.com". ***** has some explaining to do, but I doubt they will be able to do so before this domain will be shut down too.

Positive points - DDOS protected site (Prolexic), full of valid links to truste/symantec etc authentication sites Negative points - 1. spammed promotion 2. advertises 3% PER DAY interest - that is ridiculous and smells of Ponzi or HYIP fraud Fraud research is at *****

Spams using open proxies. ie they are using computers illegally hacked into to send out spam. Anyone HONEST uses their own computers on their own domain to send out emails. Offers unrealistic returns of 3% a day, the only way they could hope to do this is with a pyramid scheme, these are illegal. I strongly urge everyone who gets a spam from Avo Inc to forward the spam to ***** because they are also breaking US anti spam laws, so lets get these people investigated by the law and shut down. If you do a reverse phone lookup, you find the same shills pushing the same unrealistic daily financial return, a complaint has been made to yp to have their number removed to prevent people thinking that it is somehow legitimate. Copies of the spams have also been sent to local police asking them to investigate a possible pyramid scam.

Domain advertised by unsolicited email. It's unclear whether the unsolicited messages advertising avo.net are actually sent by them, or whether they're a victim of a joe-job. However, the site itself looks fairly questionable: any site that needs to cover its home page with badges saying "Look, you can trust us" is likely to be dubious. The part of the homepage that isn't taken up with verification service badges is full of meaningless marketing blurb that looks almost as if it was machine-generated. Presumably, this is just another HYIP scam. The positive endorsements here at MyWoT look very much like astro-turf, so on balance I'd recommend avoiding this site.
