Many WOT users seem to be freaking out about the redirection URL that places itself between an email link, Twitter ad or Facebook post. This link sits between what you've clicked and where you end up. This is absolutely standard practice for majority of companies to assess how their fans or customers are engaging with their content. It means they can send you more relevant information, rather than poorly targeted content that you may not want. Change your rating from orange to green for Shopify. Nothing malicious here.

IT'S A SITE THAT SENDS EMAILS FOR OTHER COMPANIES AND USES ANALYTICS FOR MARKETING PURPOSES FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS, WHICH INCLUDES TWITTER, SHOPIFY, ETC. THE SITE LINKS ARE ALL GOOD, NOTHING IS WRONG TO ALARM, SCARE OR UPSET. THE MAIN COMPANIES USING THEM ARE JUST OUTSOURCING THEIR EMAIL ACCOUNTS FOR ANALYTICS AND PROCESSING, THAT'S ALL! WOT NEEDS TO CHANGE THE YELLOW TO GREEN CIRCLES FOR THIS ONE!

PEOPLE! Stop claiming this site to be all kinds of other sites! It is a _REDIRCTION_ or routing site that routes you through to other sites, most likely for the purposes of analytics. This is not Shopify, Twitter or a Credit Union... As for the redirection itself, the site seems safe, and apparently Twitter uses it in a seemingly legit marketing letter, though I still don't understand why they use it instead of running their own analytics, so I says "Suspicious".

cl.s7.exct.net points to ***** and e8871.x.akamaiedge.net. ***** is a Salesforce marketing cloud, a digital marketing platform. it lists its company address and contact information by a simple whois => ExactTarget, Inc., 20 N Meridian St, Ste 200, Indianapolis, IN 46204, US, hostmaster [at] exacttarget.com. the site cl.s7.exct.net was created 12 years ago, and has almost no content as it was created for a specific marketing/analytical intended purpose/s and to redirect links. although this site is not dangerous/malicious, it serves no practical purpose for many/most internet users. this site and whatever analytical stuffs behind serves only the purpose or purposes of its originating company and the company's marketing partners. albeit the originating company might not use this site for malicious intent/purpose, there is the likelihood or potential that it might be used by its less credible or less ethical partner/s for malicious intent/purpose.
