Ist kickstarter.com sicher?

I am commenting about their support of a terrible product, Mizu towels. Mizu towels are terrible. Read the reviews on them by people who actually tried them instead of websites that are paid to review them. Many people are saying that they unravel after the first wash. They are not very absorbent. And, they are made not from Japan but from China. They will stall you about a refund, for as long as possible so you can't dispute the charge on your credit card. They will give false shipping information so that PayPay will side with them instead of what's really true. It's a total scam. BEWARE.

Becareful, look at the Zano project, 12 000 people lost 3 million dollars and kickstarter did nothing to prevent this, they didn't even follow their policies to at least verify that a functioning prototype was existing. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/torquing/zano-autonomous-intelligent-swarming-nano-drone

Kickstarter is a site used for crowdfunding projects. Be very careful who you chose to support and invest in, if they do not deliver or cancel you might not get your money back, do a background check and risk assess if you should invest or not. Depending on who you chose to invest in the site can be all from joyful to depressing.
