Ist retailmenot.com sicher?

Good site all in all, I use it to find discounts before making the final purchase. What's annoying to me is that many of the discounts are not real, they just want you to click but there's no real discount or code behind the button. So sometimes it's a really good site, but some users (or maybe its retailmenot) use it unethically..

Immediately after clicking a promo code on this site to ***** I was given an option to install stuff I didn't want. I couldn't get out of the dialogue box so I used Windows to shut it down. The website installed a virus called blockutubead. This virus takes control of your web browser. When you click a link, the virus redirects you to other sites so most of the time you can't get to where you want to go. It's very difficult to remove even with the top virus removal tools. After two days of no problems, the virus reappeared. I've tried to remove it again. If this doesn't work, I'll need to reinstall my operating system.
