Ist turbosquid.com sicher?

If you are an artist looking to sell your models in this site AVOID IT, they will keep 60% of your sales plus taxes, thats RIDICULOUS!! also avoid buying things from that site, sellers increase the price x2 or x3 to compensate for that fee turbosquid keeps so everyting its overpriced, better alternatives for selling/buying 3d models are CGtrader, sketchfab and even Artstation

I bought something from them in an inappropriate format for the program I'm working with. I asked for file conversion, but they forgot about me. I also wanted to buy a model, but the images that represented it were not clear enough, being only seen from the sky. I asked for some images made at the ground level so I can better see the level of detail of that model. They said they will resolve, but they forgot about me again. So this is their level of seriousness.

While the site does have a large number of talented content creators, there are also some illegal rips from games being sold for cash on the site, as well as illegally redistributed models from Poser and DAZ. If you do purchase a model, just make sure what you're buying is legit.

To use gmax, you have to register, and registering gives you access to some...inappropriate things. The good news is that you can choose at register to hide adult content. Other than that it is a good site (with gmax you can create your own warcraft 3 models! Wow!).
