Le site controverscial.com est-il sûr ?

There is nothing sold on the site, there are no misleading claims, privacy risks, no hate or discrimination, no spam, no adds, no pop-ups, no potentially unwanted programs, no Malware or viruses, nothing illegal, and no nudity or content unsuitable for children. While the site itself looks like it was created in the late 90's (graphics) and the neon text is a bit hard on my eyes, there is nothing false about the content. I see nothing on WoT about the negative rating(s?) that flagged this as suspicious (or lower, as it was yellow/suspicious when I found the rating). Why was it rated this way? Shouldn't the rating be viewable by everyone as long as the review affects the site? I would only like to know if it was rated negative becasue someone out there is a hate monger/bigot, or if there is a legitimate reason. I was under the impression when I joined WoT that the ratings were not opinion based, and I would like to know if that impression was false.

This site contains much very useful material about Wicca/Paganism and I have rated it Trustworthy on that basis. Past downratings for vendor reliability and privacy are obviously griefing: the site does not sell anything or solicit any kind of personal information. I gave it a green rating for privacy and no rating for vendor reliability. Some material on the site is specifically for children, but other material is clearly unsuitable for children while not identified as such. (Biographical material about Aleister Crowley, for example, contains adult themes.) Consequently I gave it a red rating for child safety.

Please DO NOT USE Web of Trust as a place to push your personal beliefs and opinions. Most people depend on this service as a way to tell if a website is actually safe or not, not as some kind of skewed moral compass based on another person's prejudices and biases. When someone abuses the service like this and it's noticed, the service provider should remove their ability to rate sites in the future.

I am SO tired of seeing these types of sites with FALSE ratings from fear mongers. There needs to be some kind of checks and balances on these rating systems to prevent these false ratings with NO comment or proof to back up what they're saying. You should have to give some kind of verifiable proof if you make a claim or give a negative rating. Blessings!
