It is a good website and I download mods from it, but I haven't got hacked yet. I think it's my Chromebook which has built-in antivirus. Anyway, I dont like how they steel mods but still, you should use a school chromebook since it has auto adblock

This website illegally reposts creators' mods/resource packs without permission, and illegally profits off of them, taking creators' revenue. They do not stop even when asked. These reposts may even have malware. They market versions of mods that do not exist. Do not trust them!!!

like people say "steals mods" form official and ads will up to adult , and harmful ads software.
Btw in personal i only came there if creator mod not support thier mod down to 1.7.x , that site self modify for low version, remmember know what you doing, own your risk, alway make sure you scan any file you download form there.

This site tried to install MacKeeper on my mac, when I tried to install a mod.
When most reviews are 1-2 stars, with only 1 or 2 reviews that have >4 stars, how is this site still rated 4.2???, and how is it safe, with adfly, shorte, and adfocus.

My antivirus keeps telling me that it has blocked an attack whenever I visit this website. I used to visit this site and similar sites on my laptop, but then I got a virus and I was forced to factory reset my computer.

Steals mods from official (trusted) outlets, adds in malware/ad revenue generation, and in turn makes money off of the mods instead of the author.
Site also claims to have versions of modifications that don't even exist, like "Railcraft for [newest game version here]!" for example.
Basically, they're thieves and malware distributors making a profit.
