Investigating a spam received yesterday, with a link that redirects to a document on DocDroid, that document now gets a 404. So, they do remove bad stuff that spammers put on their service. Obviously, what "trust" a link to something on DocDroid merits is the trust you have in who sent you the link. DocDroid itself seems legit enough. Dropbox, Google Documents, OneDrive, etc., all get exploited the same way.
