techcult.comは安全ですか？

I bookmarked this one years ago and it was pretty good and sometimes funny tech site. After coming back I see that it hasn't had a new article in years. Now the articles are all a good 5-10 years old which in tech terms is an eternity. Since it appears abandonded it is time to delist it.

This site is safe-to-surf (to the best of my non-expert but reasonably thorough testing): no drive-by exploits, auto-downloads, backdoor Trojans, malicious scripts/ActiveX controls, etc., and no spam (so far, after c.two weeks -- just one voluntary update newsletter requiring sign-up & confirmation, which was relatively slow to respond [maybe an overworked webmaster and/or borderline server support?], and nothing dubious detectable by fully-updated ZoneAlarm Pro, SpyWare Doctor w/Antivirus or Windows Defender. Site contents available without registering at all, unless the update newsletter is required. As far as content goes, it's not for kids, but more because they won't understand it rather than because it has anything pornographic, violent or in questionable taste (no glorification of violence, racism, and so on). Anyone who reads "The Reg" will recognise the format -- a mixture of serious, semi-serious, out-and-out humorous and satirical articles, largely based on current affairs and with a heavy bias towards the world of computers/IT. Well-written, entertaining, informative (although a pinch of salt may be needed) and, although relatively unknown, interesting enough to hold attention while idly browsing. To stay on-topic, though, no apparent security risks at all and, as far as I can find, wholly green links. A new(ish) offering, but apparently safe [as of 28/08/2008] and non-spamming.
