torguard.netは安全ですか？

Promotes their service for illegal purposes. Advertises on TorrentFreak. Hides behind hidden WHOIS. Re-posted because people who were likely infringing copyrights voted my rating down. Beware that VPN services can see all the non-encrypted data that passes through their networks! I have received harassment from one of their affiliates for posting this rating.

Torguard is a commercial VPN provider -- a service that has grown in demand especially overseas (i believe these guys are in India) because they allow non-westerners the ability to circumvent sites that block them (youtube etc). Torguard also rents some of its VPNs specifically for the purposes of filesharing -- a practice some find unethical. At the time of this writing, the site was offering PayPal again. This author subscribed to Torguard, and found the product and the customer experience to be good and the product to be reasonably priced.
