The invoice stated that curtain poles and brackets are black but once received, all the fixings were white. Having contacted Karen, I was told that it was implied that the brackets would be white (who would want black poles with white brackets?) and I would have to pay ~£120 extra to have them in black.
When I pointed out how misleading the invoice was, I received a few confrontational emails followed by a late phone call during which Karen in a rude manner accused me of being ungrateful among other things.
Being accustomed to a high level of CS that most companies strive for nowadays, we were left absolutely speechless after Karen’s screaming fit during which she banned me from their store (as if we would be returning anyway?). This, strangely enough, did not stop her from signing me up for their newsletter 5 months later without my consent.
On top of that, tracking info was sent late, broken gliders took 2 weeks to resolve and instead of requested two 2 meter poles with a joiner (which we were charged for) we received one 4 meter pole which made it harder to handle and hang.
It is safe to say that my experience with ***** was shockingly bad and unless you want to have to deal with ineptitude and unprovoked rudeness, I would suggest you steer clear of this company.

Items (two curtain holdbacks) that I bought here did not look like the one's pictured. At first I thought that the order had been mixed up. I sent photos of the items received alongside the photo from the website. Seller said that there was no mix up. I wanted to return items but was told "we don't do returns" but was offered as a 'goodwill gesture' a refund minus an admin fee and all postage costs which came to almost 50% of the original value of the purchase of £67.50.
The seller was curt to the point of rudeness at times when I persisted, politely in my objections and requested for a full refund.
She violated Distance Selling Regulations but didn't sweat over it because she knew that I couldn't take legal action for a transaction of this amount - substantial though it is. I was really upset.
I've bought hundreds of items online and never had this kind of experience. Stock looks nice on website but a advise you to AVOID on the basis of my experience which was the worst consumer experience I've ever had.
When I stumbled on the website again recently it has a WOT warning on it so it looks likes someone else has also had a negative experience too. Be warned.
