wunderground.com é seguro?

This is an excellent weather site. It uses both the official weather stations and "Personal Weather Stations" installed in homes, schools, and businesses.  The WunderMap feature provides an overview of weather in the area (with excellent zooming). The Forecast provides a 10 day forecast for specific areas - with frequent updates as more information becomes available. By selecting a weather station, one can see information at that weather station for various times in the past (updated frequently).

The "Executive Summary": Weather Underground seems technically moderately safe (i.e. no viruses, malware, etc. that I'm aware of, but the plethora of ads implies lots of tracking), absolutely child friendly, and still provides a wealth of information. The local current conditions are great. But have your ad-blocker ready and take their forecasts (especially more than a day or two out) with a large grain of salt. The Detailed Version: I first used Weather Underground (WU) back in the mid 1990s. In those days it was completely free (and ad-free), and entirely text based. It basically presented the same info as the National Weather Service (NWS) but in a much more accessible format. When the NWS launched it's more graphical and user-friendly site (don't remember when) I stopped using WU because, as I said, it seemed they both presented essentially the same info and, as far as I was concerned, the NWS was _the_ authority on the subject (weather, that is). However, sometime in the early-mid 2000s I thought I'd see what had become of WU and was amazed at the wealth of information and, especially, by the availability of near-real-time current conditions from numerous local weather stations several of which were within a mile of my house. The NWS had (and still has) nothing even close. IMO, that was when WU reached it's peak and, at that time, I gave it a WOT rating as high as I could make it. Until recently I had been using both WU and NWS. Unfortunately, over the years WU has "gone commercial". According to Wikipedia, in 2012 WU was bought by The Weather Channel (see ***** Since then, I find I can no longer effectively use the site without an ad-blocker and they now push you to sign up for a "premium" (i.e. paid) account to get rid of the ads. Worse still, there seems to have been an effect on the WU forecasts. Day after day I compare the NWS and WU, and it seems to me that the WU forecasts are inevitably more ... umm ... sensational. They predict higher highs during warm weather, lower lows during cold, and more precipitation for storms. The effect becomes more pronounced the farther ahead one looks. So, sadly, I'm back to primarily using the NWS for forecast info and WU only for current local conditions. As always, it's been sad watching a once great site slide downhill.
