Безопасен ли macpaw.com?

I won't trust this software after seeing other peoples' complaints about the software being potentially malicious. Also, I wouldn't mind being told that there's a paid version and that the free version is extremely limited BEFORE I download it. That way, I wouldn't have to waste my time downloading it and discovering its really restrictive nature myself and go look for something that's better right away instead.

I was using CleanMyMac2 (by MacPaw) pretty successfully and purchased the CleanMyMac3 update in August 2015. All sorts of interruptive and disruptive chaos then started with pop-up's and very strange timing WHEN I QUIT the application but had not yet deleted it completely. Even still this mysterious app called Disk Cleaner starts up out of NOWHERE I have so far been able to detect if/when I either "restart" my MacBook or shutdown the system and cold-start it again. I had none of this happening until I installed CleanMyMac3. Most all else that was disruptive was resolved by the complete deletion. It is possible something else is going on with Disk Cleaner I'm not to the bottom of yet - but beware. That is along with the Hazel app coming behind and cleaning up after deleting CleanMyMac3. I've now totally deleted the fragments of CleanMyMac2 with Hazel as well. This is all unfortunate because there were a number of aspects about CleanMyMac and MacPaw I had liked but no longer find the behaviors of this company turntable. - September 2015. (Remember this was not about MacPaw selling their update - I'd already bought that and still elected to abandon the product and company.)

Be carefull with this one. This website is a scam. also the software is. it makes you believe there is shit going on your pc... but there might not be.. and then they make you pay to fix the problems. do not believe in this shit! If you wanna have a good cleaner use ccleaner instead!

Mac support forums are loaded with complaints from people who have been duped by this software thinking it's a utility. Why would something legitimate have to keep changing it's internet address every month if there was any truth to their claims. DON"T get tricked into installing this malware and wrecking your computer.
