The download redirect to unsafe web site and try to install PC Store virus application. The PC Store will contains an adware which in turns will down load a lot of malware on your PC. Be careful.

Official website of the software "CrystalDiskMark" which is popular for measuring the performance of hard drives, SSD devices, memory cards, and more. As of February 10, 2016, the OpenCandy PUA has been removed from the installers.

CrystalDiskMark is a trusted tool, which is used by lots of review sites for testing hard drives.

Not sure if "browser exploit" is the right category, but I installed and ran the disk info program from this site, and WITHOUT ASKING it set ALL my browser's home pages AND default search engines to "AVG Secure Search." I've removed the program, and am still undoing the damage it has done.
