Free Servers has some very good basic tools , and I have found it very easy to start out on the web with this server

Why do they even have this site on the net? It's not the real one. Leave out the freeservers and you'll visit the actual domain. This site hasn't been updated in years. It's time they got rid of it.

This site is nothing more than a collection of links - there are NO reviews of online courses or degrees. Avoid.

Great site, some pop ups but what do you expect for free webspace?

They are a free web page and web hosting provider. If you find malware, phishing, or a spam site, report it to their abuse address.

I don't understand what all the "negative press" is about freeservers. I have been using them for a few years to host a few sites. I haven't had any problem with pop ups, but their connection with blue-tie has caused a dramatic increase in spam mail - something I plan to complain about. Their customer support was reasonably good for what they charged until they moved it off shore a year or so ago, and my sites have been up almost constantly.
