This site may have a policy against spam but it would appear that they do not take action to prevent people from using it to spam. I am getting unsolicited mail from ***** (where the site sends mail from). can spam act is worthless - I should not have to opt out of receiving spam. If the site was a good one, they would make people opt in, not opt out. Yes, they can keep people from using the site to spam. Require a double opt-in, simple.

Makes every effort to comply with all Can Spam laws. A true opt-out service.

I looked at doing business with these folks. They require the unsubscribe feature and it sure looks like they respect it. Some customer of theirs might send spam. But it should be pretty spam, and if you click to unsubscribe these guys won't let that customer spam you again.

Good people. They are an email service that does a very good job of making sure clients you opt in or double opt in lists. Some clients must not as scrupulous.

I don't get it. Like any other mailing list manager (Constant Contact, for example), Emma has a very strict no-spam policy. They can't keep bad people from doing bad things, but www.myemma.com is not a spam site, nor is it involved in spamming.

WTF---it lets me send out non-spam emails, to recipients who are on my mailing list!

This website provides mass email service and has strict usage rules for its clients and how they obtain/use email addresses. They also provide accounts free of charge to 25 non-profits every year. Spam would come from the vendor who is an Emma client, not myEmma.
