This is the site for a Hearst Corporation online newspaper for the Seattle area and is a reputable source for news information.

Seems like a safe site. However there are more click-bait-style news headlines than II would have expected. Especially for a venerable ex-newspaper organization.

Trustworthy info with no spam.

Secondary local Seattle paper (really just a news aggregator and lots of spiffy slide shows).

Seems like a news source for the Seattle area. Looks legit and professional, so you might be able to get some reliable news from here. There are no safety concerns at all.

Non-malicious news site. However the coding of the page, is poor as IDS sensors will detect SQL injection attempts when visiting the page.

Unfortunately the Seattle PI is opting its subscribers into unwanted marketing emails. As best I know, they honor unsubscribes and this is probably allowed by their terms of service when you sign up. So this might not technically be spam. I is *terrible* customer relations, however. :/ I hope that the PI *nitwit* that thought of this leaves the company quickly.

So far, I like where the new all-web Seattle Post-Intelligencer is going. David Horsey is unmatched, of course, but this site has a bunch of excellent reporters and pundits who don't all sound like one another. Thumbs up.
