Add WOT Scorecard searches to your browser's Search [engine] Bar.

Internet Explorer

requires IE 7 or newer

Go to the Add Search Providers to Internet Explorer

Enter this URL in the form (first line): http://www.mywot.com/scorecard/TEST

Type in: WOT for the name (second line)

Select install, say "Yes" and allow Microsoft to install. I doubt you'll want to check-mark it as your default provider, but it will appear in the list of providers in the drop-down menu.

Just enter a domain name, not a URL, and you'll get the WOT Scorecard to the site.

This is especially handy for getting domain names from links in email via your local email reader (Outlook / Express, Thunderbird, etc.)

If previewing the XML, it should look like this:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
- <OpenSearchDescription xmlns="http://a9.com/-/spec/opensearch/1.1/">
  <ShortName>WOT</ShortName>
  <Description>WOT provider</Description>
  <InputEncoding>UTF-8</InputEncoding>
  <Url type="text/html" template="http://www.mywot.com/scorecard/{searchTerms}" />
  </OpenSearchDescription>

Firefox

requires version 2.x and newer.

Created by WOT Member Creastery and this plugin is located on his website: Creastery 2010
