WOT users are rewarded activity points if they contribute to WOT. Both registered users and people who only use the add-on can earn activity scores.

Earning activity points

Anyone who uses the add-on, or any registered user is rewarded points for ratings.

Furthermore, activity points can be earned with:

-Scorecard comments -Forum/Board/Blog/Poll/etc. comments -Friend invitations

The above three are available to registered users only as an account is necessary to use those features.

Scale

The activity scoring system is logarythmic. This means, the more points a user gets, the more difficult it will become to get even higher because less points are rewarded.

Ranks

Registered users will get a rank based on their activity scores. These ranks are visible on their profile and as a border with a distinct colour around their profile image on the boards.

Rank 1: Rookie (blue border)
Rank 2: Bronze (red border)
Rank 3: Silver (grey border)
Rank 4: Gold (yellow border)
Rank 5: Platinum (light-grey border)

From gold level, new tools such as the mass-rating tool become available.
