Internet Protocol Address

An Internet Protocol Address (IP Address) is a unique numerical label that is given to a network of computers and other devices. Its principle purpose is to identify computers and networks. The IP Address format usually is: XXX.XX.XXX.XXX (the last section may have less digits).
