If you go to adsrvr.org, you get a 404 error. The whois records show it was registered by a proxy. What is the big secret? The cookie they placed clearly shows they are a tracking ad company. They don't want you to know them but they want to know you. Not acceptable.

I find any site that's reviewed on here several times by people working or associated with the site as suspicious on its own. The site those ratings link to as proving it is not suspicious is itself a poorly ranked, suspicious site. It's an ad server, plain and simple. That alone is not necessarily a red flag. The tracking images and cookies, however, are.

This is a good, trustworthy, child-safe site. It is not bad, malicious, misleading, or spam related at all, nor is it clear why it would have any negative connotations. I am an employee of The Trade Desk, an online technology company that uses this site/domain as part of our technology. At a very high level, The Trade Desk cares immensely about user's privacy and their rights to protect that. The Trade Desk is in great standing with all online behavioral standards and best practice organizations (DAA, EDAA, NAI, IAB). Fundamentally we are trying to improve user's experience online by serving more relevant ads, better suited for each user. If you would prefer to never be tracked by any of our technology, you can opt out here: http://www.adsrvr.org/. It is important to note, that opting out of tracking does not mean the end of ads - it more than likely means more annoying, irrelevant ads. Websites rely on revenues from Advertisers in order to enable free content for all of us to browse online, otherwise we all have to pay for online content. This website is actually intended to help make things better online by helping power smarter, safer, more respectful technology. Please let us know if we can do better by reaching out to Privacy@TheTradeDesk.com.

I work at The Trade Desk and am actively involved in our approaches to privacy and data governance. This is a company that is truly one of the "good guys" when it comes to responsible use of data in online advertising as evidenced by our careful adherence to best-practice oversight via DAA and NAI, and the approaches spelled out in our privacy policy @ *****

The Trade Desk is a technology company which helps advertisers connect with consumers who are interested or could benefit from the advertisers’ products. Protecting consumer privacy is of the utmost priority to The Trade Desk. I actually use them to run online media campaigns and there is not a better platform out there.

I am an employee of The Trade Desk. This website is about promoting online privacy compliance. It even gives instructions for how to opt out of online tracking. My experience of this site is that it is helpful and content-rich. Here's an example: "The Trade Desk is highly committed to following the OBA Principles and as a member of the Digital Advertising Alliance as well as the Network Advertising Initiative: NAI is in compliance with the industry’s Self-Regulatory Code. Click here if you would like further information regarding these principles."

The Trade Desk uses Non-PII to target and serve relevant advertising to consumers and to perform attribution analysis or other analytics regarding advertising audiences. Their Technology does NOT use any PII to serve advertisements to consumers, and they do not sell any of your PII.

Looks like they have a solid privacy page and are committed to protecting consumer privacy. If you are concerned they even allow you to opt out.... Unlike some companies... They are inline with OBA and are members of the Digital Advertising Alliance. If you questions there is an email for you to contact people *****
