It's honestly just really sus, it might work for some things, but then suddenly it just gives up with others. it may be good for bypassing paywalls, but that's all it IS good for.

Good archiving tool. I've been using it for some time now and haven't experienced downtime with it. Snapshots are generally an accurate representation of a website.

I found out about this website while repairing link rot on external references on Wikipedia articles. I know nothing about the ownership or ultimate purpose of the site, I have found it to be trustworthy, reliable and safe for my computer. I have used this site for the purpose described, which is similar to WebCite or Internet Archive, for about 3 months. I am grateful to have use of it as a resource.

It takes a "snapshot" of a webpage that will always be online even if the original page disappears.
This can be useful if you want to take a "snapshot" a page which could change soon: price list, job offer, real estate listing, drunk blog post, ...
It saves a text and a graphical copy of the page for better accuracy.
It also shortens URLs much like tinyurl, ***** and ***** do.
It can save pages from Web 2.0 sites even with hashbang URLs, for example ***** and http://twitter.com/#!/medvedevrussia
Saved pages will have no active elements and no scripts, so they keep you safe as they cannot have any popups or malware!
