Is arxiv.org Safe?

I can't argue that this is a helpful resource for many people who are whether into physics, computer science or some other fields. However, what I wanna say that the navigation in the website is very inconvenient and the design looks like from 90s. Perhaps the site wasn't updated since then, maybe just the domain was changed because of it being expired, lol. Still, from the point of usefulness then no gripes. A lot of materials from volunteer authors and this is cool.

Excellent pre-print server for research articles in math, science, computing, and related fields. Articles are submitted by academics and researchers prior to peer review. Website is safe, has a privacy policy, is associated with Cornell University, and is well maintained. It is safe to read papers online AND to download.

Perfectly safe to browse. It is also a really good resource to look for scholarly articles, and it is very organized. My biggest criticism would probably be that it isn't too visually pleasing to look at, but if that's the only significant criticism about a website, then chances are you have a pretty solid website.
