Is bullionbypost.co.uk Safe?

BE WARNED - You'll receive your goods but understand Bullionbypost have a massive mark up. For example at the time of writing this ***** if you buy a Britannia silver coin from them today @£19.32 they will only pay you £11.17 to buy back that same coin! That's a LOSS of 42% Instantly (inc VAT) A hefty mark up over the 20% VAT rate no?!! So from an investment point of view bear this massive gap in mind. Also it seems they pay less when selling VAT stored metal v's physical. Today the difference was £11 less for 1kg of VAT stored silver v's the quoted physical price. This sale price was hidden away under storage settings!! Not cool.

So far every coin I've purchased from this site has been genuin. I always check my coins no matter where I purchase them from. I use a Triplet Loupe for visual inspection and a digital scale accurate to 0.01g as well as the sound test. e.g. let a coin topple over on a glass surface and listen to the tone. Look on youtube for Chards videos for some good tips on spotting fakes. Personaly I found chards cheapest for Silver coins and Bullion by post cheapest for gold coins.

I have to also disagree, as this is not my experience with bullion by post. I have been dealing with this company for about 3 years and they have always been great people to deal with. They have never advertised on TV, so I don't understand the first comment. I have found their site to be easy to use, all my orders have arrived safely and on time. No issues whatsoever with these guys.
