The new Maplins online store is terrible there is 'pop ups' on every page and even annoying 'pop ups' on payment pages asking for feed back! - I escaped quickly

I'd trust this near-monopoly on the high street electronics market with my personal data as they are a serious company, however; read on.
I bought one of these items and it's not fit for purpose, the sticky surface isn't strong enough and the pads fell off in days if not hours. Yet Maplin suspiciously won't allow a review to be posted.
My alternative solution to my needs is working fine weeks later. The public need to know if a product is not fit for purpose if Maplin aren't going to listen to customers who return items.

I use the store more than their on-line website because its very near where I live. Staff are helpful but most of their computer parts and hardware are overpriced. Okay if you need something in a hurry but if your not in a rush, prices are much cheaper elsewhere.Apart from their prices its a reliable place to shop.

A useful supplier of retail electronic components. Their prices for other electronic items can be a little on the expensive site - as always, it pays to shop around. Overall, recommended.
