Unlike many of NOAA's sub sites (eg: sanctuaries.noaa.gov), the main site does rely on third party analytics (Google Analytics) and uses third party social media widgets.However, the infomation available from NOAA is invalueble for world-wide education, information, knowledge and general interest enthusiasts, that these can be overlooked if you cannot block them individuall.(They can be blocked without suffering any loss of site functionality.)
