Congress should initiate immediate impeachment hearings to determine whether President Obama and top administration officials engaged in bribery, corruption or cronyism related to the president’s first-term “green” stimulus legislation, charges a brand-new book. “We recommend that Congress immediately convene hearings based on the information presented in this chapter,” wrote New York Times bestselling authors Aaron Klein and Brenda J. Elliott in their book, “Impeachable Offenses: The case for removing Barack Obama from office.” The authors were referring to a chapter entitled, “Cronyism, corruption and ‘clean’ energy.” Klein and Elliott point to Article Two Section Four of the United States Constitution, which spells out cause for impeachment: “The President, Vice President and all civil officers of the United States, shall be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of, treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors.” The authors argue the “bribery” clause may be fulfilled by Obama’s actions related to the so-called stimulus. ‘Stimulus’ authors ties to hundreds of millions Write Klein and Elliott: “To start with, lawmakers should look into possible corruption related to the authorship of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 and how activists who helped to craft key sections of the bill are themselves quite close to companies that received billions from the very legislation they helped to write.” *****

This website is run by the U.S. government to manage PR and provide information about the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) also known as the Stimulus. While the politics and ideology can be questioned, the site is good.

3
Excellent US government site on how the stimulus bill will be spent. Bravo Mr. President for the first Open Government site in memory. More of our government should be open to review on the federal, state and local levels...that brings democracy in action.
