Yes, It is safe like your Computer's password :P By the way, have purchased their PDF recovery tool a month back. Tried all of their methods but couldn't fix those files. Later on, I contacted them....regarding the issue. And trust me they helped me out. This time, they guided me on how to repair and recover those corrupt files. And even helped me in restoring it. Brilliantly done. before this recovery was really not satisfied as i thought, i invested my money in a scam software..but that was not the case. I downloaded the demo version and tried both the "standard" & "advanced" options, but both ended up making an empty folder with nothing in it. So I went to their website and emailed ***** to see if there was something different I could do. Initially they were helpful and responded quickly that I would have to upload my file to a FTP server. 3 business days later (5d total) I was emailed back that they could fix the file and that I needed to complete payment to get the repaired file. I was a little disappointed that I couldn't fix the file w/ the downloaded software since that would be easier, but as long as it was fixed then fine. I then paid for the service, but the “repaired” file had all of the exact same errors as the original file when I opened the file in Adobe Reader DC. The last email that I got from them telling me how to get the file also indicated that I would have to open the file in a specific reader (Foxit Reader) to use the file. This was never mentioned while I was in contact with customer support or anywhere on the website description of the product (http://www.sysinfotools.com/recovery/pdf-recovery.php). This is a big problem in a large organization where only the IT department is allowed to download programs onto a computer because I need to be able to collaborate on my files and don't get to dictate what software goes on everyone's computer. In addition, when I did open the old pdf file in this Foxit Reader, it looks exactly the same as the “repaired” pdf file. So I don’t think that anything was even done to the file. Per the SysInfoTools company's Money Back Guarantee (http://www.sysinfotools.com/money-back-policy.php) I requested a refund. After not receiving any communication from sysinfotools.com for a week and a half I resorted to escalating the issue to paypal's dispute program. The very last day that sysinfotools.com had to respond to the dispute is when they finally got back to paypal. Paypal ended up siding w/ them. So buyer beware, you can save yourself $60 and just download the foxit reader on your own. There were few reviews on this company so I wanted to add mine so that there's at least 1 legitimate review b/c paypal won't protect you.
